Xiaomi Smartphones, Tablet To Get Price Cuts During Diwali Sale




NEW DELHI: Xiaomi India has announced its Diwali sale, scheduled for November 3 to November 5. The company is hosting the sale on its official website Mi.com as well as its Mi Store app; therefore, the offers will not be available on online partners like Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal.
Xiaomi is slashing the prices of its smartphones and tablet during the sale period. So, Redmi 2 Prime budget handset will be available for Rs 6,499, compared to asking price of Rs 6,999. The 16GB variants of Mi 4 and Mi 4i smartphones can be purchased for Rs 12,999 (usual price Rs 14,999) and Rs 10,999 (usual price Rs 12,999), respectively.

As part of the sale, Xiaomi will sell select products, including accessories and smartphones, at Re 1 between 2pm and 6pm on all three sale days. However, only those who have "shared the promotion from Mi.com via Facebook/Twitter between 10am on 28th October to 4pm on 5th November" will be eligible for this flash sale, the company said in a statement.Xiaomi is also giving away one unit of Mi TV 2S on each sale day; winners will be announced on the company's Facebook page.

The company will also start selling Mi Band with white LED and Mi in-ear headphones on November 3, priced at Rs 799 and Rs 299, respectively.Manu Jain, India head, Xiaomi said, "We are thrilled to be celebrating this Diwali with our Mi fans across India, and we hope that our great #DiwaliWithMi offers will add more joy and happiness to this festival of light."
